Hardeners & Densifiers

Fast Curing & Densifiers not only cures the green concrete but also hardens it. When FCD is applied, it penetrates and settles in the pores or reacts with the hydroxide and oxides to produce bigger molecules which reduce the porosity of the surface.

CETEX LD is concentrated premium nano-lithium silicate based densifier/hardener for cementatious surfaces. Being the smallest stable silica, it penetrates deep in the concrete to produce insoluble calcium silicate hydrate and silica gels within concrete pores. Once pores are filled, silica polymerization takes place on the surface and lithium comes out of the system as insoluble lithium carbonate powder. This results in microscopic, alkali-free silica (glass) layer, which is not possible in other silicate based densifiers. This not only reduces liquid penetration, dusting, but also results in pure silica coating (glass), which has high resistance to abrasion & heat and reduces maintenance.

CETEX Potassium Densifier (DLPD) is potassium silicate based, which hardens a wide variety of cementatious surfaces.

CETEX CFA (Concrete Finishing Aid) is colloidal silica based finishing aid which improves work ability for better finish of concrete surface.

CETEX LPD is potassium silicate based, which hardens a wide variety of cementatious surfaces. When LPD is applied, it penetrates and reacts with the free calcium hydroxide to produce a by-product, which fills up the pores on the surface. This aids in trapping the moisture of wet concrete, which aids in curing of wet concrete.
