is potassium silicate based which hardens a wide variety of cementatioussurfaces When LPD is applied itpenetrates and reacts with the free calcium hydroxide to produce a byproductwhich fills up the pores on the surface This aids in trapping the moisture ofwet concrete which aids in curing of wet concrete

APPLICATION METHODS

Clean the surface before application If there is coating on thesurface for example curing compound etc should be removed Fill and repairall holes cracks and deteriorated areas For best result the surface shouldbe dry to allow LPD penetrate thepores and react

For good result LPD isdiluted with water in 13 ratio It can be applied on clean surface by using alowpressure sprayer or by spreading evenly with a softbristled broom

ForHorizontal surfaces apply enough diluted LPDto keep the surface wet for 20 minutes If areas dry out before that applymore diluted LPD In hot dry orwindy conditions dampen concrete before application to prevent flash drying Remove any dried powder residue using a stiff broom powersweeper or floor scrubbing machine For immediate enhanced shine buff orburnish the dry concrete surface in both directions using an orbital floormachine or burnisher equipped with an appropriate polishing pad This is a drybuffing operation

Forvertical surfaces apply from the bottom up For maximum penetration anddesired coverage rates a wetonwet application is recommended retreat withinthree to five minutes after initial application Repeated applications shouldbe made until the surface remains moist for a minute or so before solutiondisappears

Restrict usage of the treated surface for 12 hours

When stored in anairtight sealed container in normal conditions has a shelf life of 12 months
